*Description: This is a beautiful 1940s set of rhinestone, enamel, and rhodium plated birds which were originally a "Duette" set; however, they each have their own rolling c clasp but the slider brooch that would put both on one brooch is missing. The artist may have been stamped on the slider plate. They are very similar to the Coro Duet bird brooch so they may be unsigned Coro. They are lovely together without the slider. Also, a slider may be found and added later. Several clear rhinestones are missing; I counted two but I may have missed one as they have silver backing and they are difficult to spot. They could be easily repaired. The rhodium plating is beautiful and the clasps are in excellent condition. The enamel is in two shades of purple on each bird with enamel in green, pink, and red, on the flowers. Each bird has a red rhinestone eye with a black enamel beak and purple top notch. This is a great set of vintage jewelry. This would be a great addition to your vintage jewelry collection or make a great vintage gift!
*Approximate Measurements: Length Each - 2 1/2 Inches, Width Each - 1 3/8 Inches, Weight Together - 1 Ounce *Condition: Good vintage condition. Will see signs of wear under magnification. See photos for details. *Hallmark: Unsigned *Item E 3779
I love these beads, the subtle colours and the delicate pattern. I didn't realize they had some kind of coating over the porcelain, but they are still beautiful. Thank you.
These beautiful earrings were a replacement for a pair I lost while traveling. I was anguished, as they were deeply meaningful. Thanks so much to Fran, a former employee at Laurel Burch, for sending me the Etsy link…and thanks to Etsy for having them. The quality of all the items I have found at Etsy has always been superb.
I am beyond excited to gift this to a wonderful friend with pictures of her two favorite kiddos inside. The clasp works great; the quality and color are stunning. Thank you.
My beautiful Hobe bracelet arrived very quickly, was beautifully packaged and exceeded my expectations. The description and pictures were helpful in making my decision.
