*Description: This is a beautiful late 1950s purple and lavender floral brooch with an aurora borealis center. The riveted individual petals hold prong set rhinestones in marquise and chaton cuts. The center rhinestone is aurora borealis with a rainbow of reflections. The second row is lavender rhinestone chatons, then purple marquise cut rhinestones that are lifted up like a real petal on the riveted backs. Then a row of large purple rhinestone chatons and the outside row are light purple marquise cut rhinestones that are set on their sides. This is a beautiful brooch for someone who loves purple and would be a great addition to your vintage jewelry collection or make a great vintage gift!
