*Description: This is a large Alice Caviness flower brooch on a rhodium plated signed backing from the 1960s. Alice Caviness began her jewelry business in the forties and continued her work until the 1980s. This large flower brooch has a rhodium plated stem. The flower is made with navette rhinestones in a variety of monochrome shades from clear to black. Many of the rhinestones fade from one color to the other. The center rhinestone is gray and the accent rhinestone near the stem is clear. All of the rhinestones are prong set. This would be a great addition to your vintage jewelry collection or make a great vintage gift!
