*Description: This is a beautiful purple gemstone brooch encircled in sterling silver with a C clasp from the 1920s or before in a Victorian style. The purple gemstone fell at the top of the Amethyst range and into Spinel. The silver frame of the brooch is stamped 925. The silver has not been polished so the natural patina is on the brooch. This would be a great gift for a February birthday or someone who loves purple. This would also be a great addition to your vintage jewelry collection or make a great vintage gift!
