*Description: This is a beautiful parure (necklace, bracelet, and clip on earrings) "black diamond" gray and clear rhinestones set with excellent details in design, from the 1950s. Many of the designed sets were unsigned but originally had paper tags or gift boxes with designer logos. This is a gorgeous set. Each rhinestone is in place and many stones are dog-toothed prong set with climbing rows of clear rhinestone chatons. A particularly gorgeous end piece on the necklace matches the design within the choker. I tested the surface metal and it tested at 10K gold which may suggest that it is rhodium plated since it is silver tone. Many of the rhinestones are open back which allows the lighting to shine through. This necklace is in great condition and would make an excellent vintage gift or wonderful addition to your vintage jewelry collection.
