Bugbee & Niles Expansion Bracelet, Turquoise Rhinestones, 1940s Vintage Jewelry

*Description: This is a beautiful expansion bracelet by Bugbee & Niles Company from the 1940s with turquoise prong set rhinestones on a gold plated base. This company actually began in 1859, however, most of their jewelry with the B&N hallmark was made after 1913. This bracelet had to have been in someone's jewelry box because it is in great condition. The hallmark is very small but if you look carefully, you can see it within the images posted. There are three links with turquoise rhinestones which are all prong set and in place. This particularly design was made with a variety of rhinestone colors. The actual links are smooth then floral, alternating design patterns within the bracelet. When left as is, the bracelet is 5 1/2 inches around the inside. It may be stretched to over 8 inches in length if needed. The width of the bracelet is 1 1/4 inches. This is a beautiful expansion bracelet and would be a great addition to your vintage jewelry collection or make a great vintage gift!

Bugbee & Niles Company began in Providence, RI, in 1859. Their hallmark B & N was first used in 1913. Many of their items were featured in a presentation box. Many of their earrings had the mark BN. and were on the top of the screw back clasp.
