This is a stunning and rare Coro Duette brooch from the late 1930s to early 1940s. The brooch features two beautifully detailed Art Deco–style dress clips that combine into a single brooch using Coro’s patented Duette clasp mechanism (Pat. No. 1798867).
Each clip is covered in sparkling round and square-cut rhinestones in shades of clear and soft champagne. The stones are all present with some light age-related yellowing, consistent with vintage pieces of this era. The clips detach from the frame and can be worn individually or together as a brooch — a true hallmark of Coro’s innovation and craftsmanship.
