Eisenberg Ice Clear Rhinestone Necklace, Mid-Century Rhodium Plated, 1960s Vintage Jewelry

*Description: This is a beautiful Eisenberg Ice clear rhinestone choker necklace with rhodium plating from around the 1960s. This gorgeous necklace would look wonderful at a wedding or any formal event. It has the wide rhinestone front with four layers of rhinestones with a larger rhinestone in the center in a v shape. The necklace is stamped Eisenberg Ice on the back with a raised cartouche. The hook clasp has an extension chain with a larger rhinestone on the end. The necklace is adjustable up to 15 inches. This would be a great addition to your vintage jewelry collection or make a great vintage gift!
In Costume Jewelry 101, Julia C Carroll interviewed Karl Eisenberg, who was Jonas Eisenberg’s grandson. Jonas Eisenberg immigrated to Chicago from Austria in 1885. He gave a general list of dates and their hallmarks for Eisenberg jewelry. She explained that Eisenberg jewelry is difficult to precisely date by marks as the company did not necessarily retire one mark in favor of another.

1941-1945 Eisenberg Sterling due to war effort or Eisenberg Originals
1945-1958 Eisenberg or Eisenberg Ice
1958-1970s Paper Tag or Eisenberg Ice
