*Description: This is a unique and beautiful Chinese imported porcelain beaded necklace with hand painted heron birds on each bead from the 1950s. Most of these necklaces have floral or abstract designs but this has hand painted birds which is very rare. The beads are all individually painted and are hand knotted with a dark blue thread. There are 33 beads which are oval in shape; one bird on the back and the front. The clasp is the typical Chinese imported clasp and this one is gold plated. This would be a great addition to your vintage jewelry collection or make a great vintage gift!
