*Description: This is a beautiful Hollycraft "Ribbon Tree" brooch from the 1950s. This brooch is featured in Mary Morrison's Christmas Jewelry book on page 43. She explains the brooch is sometimes called the ribbon tree for its many layers of long, curved, ribbon-like branches, each adorned with alternating stones and knobs. The Hollycraft stamp on the back with a copyright in front dates this piece at 1955 or after. There is one missing flat back red rhinestone which could easily be replaced if desired. This would be a great addition to your vintage jewelry collection or make a great vintage gift!
