Joseph Mazer Flower Brooch & Earrings, Gold Plated, 1960s Vintage Jewelry

*Description: This is a beautiful gold plated Joseph Mazer, Jomaz, floral brooch and matching earrings set from the 1960s. Each piece is beautifully designed and constructed. The floral design has a smooth finish on the flower petals around the clear rhinestone center. The second row of petals and beyond are a textured finish. This designer signed a set with two of his signatures very often. This brooch is stamped JOMAZ and the earrings are stamped Joseph Mazer. It is a wonderful set and would be a great addition to your vintage jewelry collection or make a great vintage gift!

In 1923, Joseph Mazer and his brother Lincoln founded Mazer Brothers in New York. Their line of costume jewelry was first produced in 1927. Early Mazer jewelry was created by master designers such as Marcel Boucher. Mazer brothers insisted on using the highest quality materials in their jewelry construction. After 1946, the brothers split the business. Joseph founded Joseph J. Mazer Company and marked their jewelry “Jomaz” or “Joseph Mazer” and were in business through 1981.
