Large Purple Rhinestone Brooch & Clip Earrings, Gold Plated, 1960s Vintage

*Description: This is a unique and beautiful domed purple and gold brooch and matching earrings from the 1960s. The center is a purple rhinestone chaton and it is encircled with smaller purple chaton cut rhinestones which flow down and then back up slightly. That is the center. The outside layer are emerald cut purple rhinestones which make a row around the center. Then on the outside are marquise and chaton purple rhinestones that make a scalloped pattern to finish off this gorgeous brooch. The matching earrings have all of the components of the brooch in a smaller degree. The earrings have the same center purple chaton raised center, surrounded by smaller purple chaton cut rhinestones, then a row of small emerald cut purple rhinestones and finished off with teardrop and chaton cut rhinestones that also design the scalloped appearance. The gold tone back is gold plated. I tested the gold and it tested at 10K. It is a beautiful set and would make a wonderful gift or a great addition to any outfit or vintage jewelry collection.
