Laurel Burch Ancient Ancestors Post Earrings, Gold Plated, 1980s Vintage Jewelry

*Description: A unique pair of gold plated earrings by designer Laurel Burch. This design was called "Ancient Ancestors" and is stamped on the back of other earrings with the same design. These earrings are from the 1980s "Art of Human Being" Collection now retired & signed on the back with the artist's name. Each earring has the faces of two people; one is facing forward and appears to have Egyptian headdress and the second is a profile with similar headdress. There was one triangle of black enamel in one corner, showing background, of each earring and slightly in each of the lines in the design. The earrings are 1 Inch in length and width and yet only weigh .3 ounces each. What a great design! They would also make a great gift.

This amazing artist, Laurel Burch, is known for her colorful designs, many of which were created from her paintings, quality gold plated & enamel jewelry and using a cloisonne technique on her jewelry. All of her vintage jewelry is highly collectible and loved by many, including myself.
