Laurel Burch Spirit Man and Horse Brooch & Pendant, Rhodium Plated, 1980s

*Description: This is a unique design by artist Laurel Burch which was a part of her native series. This brooch and pendant combination is a native man standing in front of a horse. The color is unique in that it is silver tone and almost has a pewter appearance but when I tested the surface, it tested as most of Laurel Burch's vintage jewelry tests as a surface minimum of 10K gold plate or filled. So it is actually rhodium plated which tests as gold. It would be a great piece of Laurel Burch vintage jewelry to add to your collection and you could not only wear it as a brooch on a jacket, hat, or bag, but you could also wear it with your favorite silver tone chain as a pendent.

This amazing artist, Laurel Burch, is known for her colorful designs, many of which were created from her paintings, quality gold plated & enamel jewelry and using a cloisonne technique on her jewelry. All of her vintage jewelry is highly collectible and loved by many, including myself.
