*Description: The is a great Monet creamy white enamel and gold plated necklace with matching clip on earrings from the 1960s. The necklace has the classic sister clasp which Monet patented using a more rounded edge, keeping your necklace securely on your neck. In addition, they patented clips for these earrings, which they called comfort clips. This pair of earrings have gold plate and creamy white enamel on the front which match the necklace. This would be a great addition to your vintage jewelry collection or make a great vintage gift!

Michael and Jay Chernow founded Monocraft in 1929. As part of the business, the brothers developed an excellent plating process to branch into making jewelry, which they signed “MONET”. Monet jewelry reflects classic designs that can be worn daily. Information shared by Julia C. Carroll in Costume Jewelry 101.
