The company was named MODEART and appeared to have ART designs from the 1950s to 1970s. Arthur Pepper was the owner of MODE ART which was a New York company. The jewelry was signed ART in capital letters and after 1955 also had the copyright symbol. According to Julia C Carroll of Costume Jewelry 101, ART sets had interesting stones and color combinations which were similar to Florenza jewelry. Bracelets and necklaces had pastel rhinestones similar to Hollycraft jewelry. Many of the pins and earrings were decorated with brightly colored enamel. Some of the best Art designs include Art figural pins, glitzy Art sets, and Art Christmas Jewelry.
