*Description: This is a gorgeous Regency Jewels Ruby Red and Opalescence Pink rhinestone Japanned bracelet from the 1970s. Each link has ruby red marquise cut rhinestones with a pink marquise cut rhinestone in the center and two small garnet rhinestone chatons in between. The clasp is a push and lock clasp with a rhinestone on top. There is a silver tone safety chain which was used in all of the Japanned bracelets. Japanned jewelry is a black metal which enhances the sparkle of the vibrant marquise cut stones. All of the stones used in Regency jewelry was imported from Austria. Regency Jewels, also known as, Regency was the Regina Novelty Company, in New York, New York. Their jewelry was in circulation from 1940s through 1970s. Regency jewelry is known for hits high quality rhinestones and art glass. The red and pin Regency Jewels pieces are difficult to find. This bracelet would be a great addition to your vintage jewelry collection or make a great vintage gift!
