Ruby Red Rhinestone Brooch, Aurora Borealis, Gold Plated, 1960s Vintage Jewelry

*Description: This is a gorgeous red multi-layered rhinestone brooch with gold plated backing from the 1960s. The center rhinestone is red aurora borealis and prong set. It is surrounded by a row of slightly smaller aurora borealis red rhinestone chatons which are separated by red marquise cut rhinestones. The outside and bottom row of rhinestones are tear drop cut red rhinestones with red aurora borealis smaller rhinestone chatons around the edges of the brooch. I tested the metal surface and it tested at 10K gold plate. The brooch has a very unique way of setting two main rhinestones which is apparent on the back and would signal a designer technique. This brooch is unsigned and either had a paper tag for designer identification or the matching components were signed. This is a beautiful brooch and would be a great addition to your vintage jewelry collection or make a great vintage gift!
