S.A.L. Swarovski Purple Crystal Small Clip Earrings, Gold Plated, Austrian Crystal, 1970s Vintage Jewelry

*Description: This is a beautiful pair of Swarovski earrings with three purple baguettes in each gold plated earring from the 1970s. Each earring is stamped S. A. L. which was one of the earlier Swarovski hallmarks. The rhinestones are Austrian crystal and more lavender in color. This would be a great addition to your vintage jewelry collection or make a great vintage gift!

Daniel Swarovski invented a machine to industrially cut crystal stones making “a diamond for everyone” in 1891. Swarovski, his brother-in-law Franz Weis and Armand Kosmann founded the Swarovski company in 1895 to manufacture stones. Began making costume jewelry in 1977 using the Edelweiss logo and then changed to the swan logo in 1988. Business is still owned and operated by Swarovski family members in Wattens, Austria.
