*Description: This is a beautiful pair of pink milk glass Sherman earrings with topaz rhinestones on a gold plated floral designed backing from the 1960s. Each earring has the seven light pink cabochons with chaton cut and marquise cut topaz rhinestone center. Each earring is stamped SHERMAN on the back of the clip. This would be a great addition to your vintage jewelry collection or make a great vintage gift!
Sherman & Co was a Canadian jewelry company in which collectors seek signed jewelry because the company only used high-quality materials in gorgeous designs. The rhinestones were prong set into either rhodium plated or gold plated metal. The jewelry was advertised as “Jewels of Elegance”. The years of operation were 1947 to 1981. This information was obtained from Julia C. Carroll in Costume Jewelry 101.
