*Description: This is a very unique sterling and golden brass inlay in a large oval onyx brooch, old Mexico silver, from the 1950s. The back is hallmarked with the Eagle 1 stamp and also marked HECHO EN MEXICO - DF 925 GZH. Through my research, I find that this mark is listed in the 'Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks' by Bille Hougart. The brooch may also be worn as a pendant. This would be a great addition to your vintage jewelry collection or make a great vintage gift!
