*Description: This is a beautiful Stannard designer necklace and matching earrings from the 1970s. The necklace has a gorgeous hook clasp with clear rhinestones down the center of the gold plated metal. The clip on earrings match the clasp with the same gold plated metal and clear rhinestones down the center. The necklace has eight strands of red beads which are a combination of red glass and fire polished faceted beads. The beads are hand knotted with red thread. Stannard made jewelry for Broadway shows, television shows like Dynasty and movies. He continued to design jewelry for these events until 2000. This would be a great addition to your vintage jewelry collection or make a great vintage gift!
