Swarovski Baguette Rhinestone Brooch, Signed S. A. L., Gold Plated, 1960s Vintage Jewelry

*Description: This is a beautiful Swarovski baguette clear rhinestone brooch from the 1960s. The brooch has clear channel set rhinestones and is stamped on the back with the early Swarovski hallmark: S. A. L. The brooch is gold plated and a timeless mid-century modern piece. This would be a great addition to your vintage jewelry collection or make a great vintage gift!

Daniel Swarovski invented a machine to industrially cut crystal stones making “a diamond for everyone” in 1891. Swarovski, his brother-in-law Franz Weis and Armand Kosmann founded the Swarovski company in 1895 to manufacture stones. They began making costume jewelry in using the Edelweiss logo and S. A. L. logo and then later changed to the swan logo in 1988. Business is still owned and operated by Swarovski family members in Wattens, Austria.
