*Description: This is a gorgeous Vendome clear crystal aurora borealis two strand necklace from the 1960s. This beautiful necklace has 18mm faceted barrel beads, 12mm round faceted beads, and 12mm aspirin beads all in aurora borealis clear crystal. The hook flower topped clasp is stamped VENDOME on the bottom and with the beaded extension chain allows you to adjust the length of the necklace up to 16 1/2 Inches. This would be a great addition to your vintage jewelry collection or make a great vintage gift!

According to Julia C Carroll, of Costume Jewelry 101, she states, “In 1944, Coro began producing jewelry marked “Vendome”, the name of a city in France. Like Coro Craft, the name Vendome is associated with higher-end Coro designs. Most Vendome jewelry was produced after 1953. The head designer of Vendome jewelry was Helen Marion. She is responsible for creative designs that used crystals in innovative and beautiful ways.”
