*Description: This is a beautiful pair of Vendome dangle crystal beaded earrings in silver metallic and clear rhinestones from the 1960s. Each pair of earrings has an adjustable clip clasp and dangling crystals are on a single drop from a prong set bead on the top. There is one pear shape metallic silver bead on each end with a smaller one reversed on the top of the drop. The center drop bead is made up of clear rhinestones on a ball shaped bead. The earrings are stamped VENDOME on the clasp. This would be a great addition to your vintage jewelry collection or make a great vintage gift!
According to Julia C Carroll, of Costume Jewelry 101, she states, “In 1944, Coro began producing jewelry marked “Vendome”, the name of a city in France. Like Coro Craft, the name Vendome is associated with higher-end Coro designs. Most Vendome jewelry was produced after 1953. The head designer of Vendome jewelry was Helen Marion. She is responsible for creative designs that used crystals in innovative and beautiful ways.”
