*Description: This necklace is a Chinese hand painted, hand knotted, floral beaded necklace with a filigree gold tone box clasp, with its original paper tag, from around the 1940s. The beads are a gold background with flowers in pink, green, red, and blue. Each round bead is 15mm and the hand knotted string is gold in color. It is a heavier necklace; weighing in at 4.1 ounces. The gold paint is very striking on each bead and gives the necklace a great vintage look. These Chinese handmade necklaces were imported from China in the 1940s and continued to the 1960s. This would be a great addition to your vintage jewelry collection or make a great vintage gift!
