This is a beautiful mid-century Scitarelli brooch and pendant from the 1950s. The piece features brilliant pear-shaped ruby red and round clear glass rhinestones arranged in a floral spray design with a gold plated leaf backdrop. It includes both a bail for wearing as a pendant and a rolling C clasp for wearing as a brooch, offering versatile styling.
The round cartouche on the back is stamped Scitarelli, a hallmark of M. & S. Manufacturing Company of Providence, Rhode Island, active in the 1950s and documented in the Jewelers Circular of 1950.
