Vintage Sherman Snowflake Rhinestone Brooch, Aurora Borealis, 1960s

*Description: This is a gorgeous snowflake brooch by Sherman with aurora borealis rhinestones on a gold plated backing from 1955 to the 1960s. This brooch design must have been numbered with a limited production as this brooch has the number 626 placed on the back. Sherman & Company was a Canadian jewelry company and collectors seek signed Sherman jewelry because the company used only high quality materials. The rhinestones are prong set and Sherman used gold plating or rhodium plating. This piece has gold plating. The jewelry was advertised as "Jewels of Elegance".
