This is a vintage Siam sterling silver three-piece jewelry set consisting of a bracelet, brooch, and screw-back earrings, featuring exquisite black niello enamel artistry. These pieces were crafted in Siam (now Thailand) in the 1930s, prior to the country's official name change in 1939.

Each piece is hand-engraved with mythological figures, most notably Mekkala, the Goddess of Lightning, a central figure in the Thai version of the Ramayana legend, known as the Ramakien. This story depicts Mekkala casting lightning bolts to protect good from evil — a powerful and symbolic motif in traditional Siam jewelry.

The silverwork technique, called niello or nielloware, involves carving into the silver and filling the recessed designs with a blackened metallic mixture before firing, creating a striking silver-on-black contrast.

Approximate Measurements:

Bracelet: 6 3/8 inches (excluding clasp)

Brooch: 2 inches in diameter

Earrings: 1 1/4 inches long (screw-back)

Total Weight: 1.7 ounces

Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The set appears unworn but shows natural patina consistent with age. Light surface wear from storage; polished lightly with a jewelry cloth. See photos for details.

Hallmark: Sterling Made in Siam (on all pieces)

This is a highly collectible Siam sterling niello set, beautifully preserved and rich in cultural symbolism — a perfect gift for collectors of international or Art Deco-era silver jewelry.
