*Description: This is a rare Weiss yellow enamel woodpecker bird brooch with faux pearl accents from the late 1940s to early 1950s. This unique bird brooch has a textured gold plated finish and the bird has red rhinestone eyes. The yellow enamel is on the bird head's top notch, beak, wings and tail. Weiss made a very collection group of figural brooches in the 1940s and early 1950s. They are very difficult to find. This would be a great addition to your vintage jewelry collection or make a great vintage gift!
