*Description: This is a great hinged bangle bracelet by Whiting & Davis from the 1970s to 1980s. The bracelet is featured in Collecting Costume Jewelry 202 by Julia C. Carroll on page 473. She explains that the Whiting & Davis bracelet is silver-tone with six faux coins. The coins represent ancient coins read "San Marc Ven" which refers to San Marco Venezia (Saint Mark), the patron saint of Venice. It is signed "Whiting & Davis Co. Mesh Bags". It is comfortable to wear due to the hinge clasp. It is in great condition which would make this bracelet a great addition to your vintage jewelry collection or make a great vintage gift!
